When a Death Occurs
First of all, we want to extend our deepest condolences for your loss. We may not know the depth of your grief, but we want to be here for you, to serve you in this time of great difficulty.
There are some simple steps that need to be taken to ensure that the funeral arrangements will go smoothly.
The easiest thing to do is call Trinity first on 6451-4496 (24hr), and our receptionist will be able to
talk you through the process and make any arrangments that you require.
At no charge, We will also come straight to you, for your convenience.
The following flowchart shows the general steps to arrange a funeral.
1. Notify Trinity Casket with your name and contact, and the Name and Location of the deceased.
2. Our Operations Manager will meet with you and guide you in selecting an appropriate funeral package that is suitable and affordable to your needs.
4. To obtain the Death Certificate, you need to register the death at a Police Station/Post, or if in a hospital, the Medical Records Office. You will need the CCOD and the identity cards of the deceased and yourself.
5. You need to inform the police on whether you want a cremation or a burial, and choice of cemetary so that the correct burial permit can be issued.
6. While the embalming is taking place, Trinity will book a cremation time slot or burial plot on behalf of the family, and assist with Obituary Announcements.
7. Trinity will organize and coordinate with the family and clergy to arrange the entire funeral in terms of: wake, time of service and funeral, catering, tents if necessary, burial or cremation time, equipment and other special requirements.
8. The 3-7 day wake will culminate in the funeral service, and followed by burial or cremation.
